School may be out for students during the summer, but the employees of Castleberry ISD continue to work hard during the summer months.  During the August 8, 2016 CISD Board of Education Meeting, DeAnne Page, Executive Director of Financial Services, recognized two outstanding employees from her department. 

Melanie Bogle, Purchasing Specialist, was recognized for being an outstanding employee at CISD. Melanie is an energetic team player who is a natural leader with a servant’s heart. Melanie is always willing to help someone even if it isn't her expertise. Mrs. Bogle has brought many new ideas to Financial Services regarding purchasing. She is a team player with a great attitude and an encouraging smile.

Elizabeth Menchaca, Accountant, was also recognized for being an outstanding employee at CISD. She has a great attitude and will do whatever is needed to get the job done. She brings enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience to the department. Elizabeth is always looking for a more efficient and effective way to help the department be successful. She brings a fresh view into the department and exudes professionalism and servant leadership on a daily basis.

Jim Byrom, River Oaks Lions Club, recognized Jackie Pena for her hard work and dedication to the River Oaks community and to the Castleberry Community Drug Free Awareness Coalition (CCDAC) - a non-profit volunteer-based organization.  She also organizes Castleberry Cares and the CCDAC Fund Raiser on her personal time.  Ms. Pena was also honored as a lifetime member of the River Oaks Lions Club. Jackie has a true heart for students and her community.
