Castleberry High School is proud to announce our class of 2021 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

The 2021 Valedictorian is Kaitlin S. She is the daughter of John and Erika. She has been active in the Castleberry High School band for all fourPortrait of female student in graduation cap gown. years, with three years as 1st Bass for the CHS Marching Band and Percussion for all four years and qualifying for UIL State in 2018. Kaitlin also had the honor of being Drum Captain and Wind Ensemble Section Leader. She has also been an active member of the Texas Girls' Choir for six years.

Not only has Kaitlin been active in musical endeavors, but she also has been a member of the CHS Student Council all four years, including Secretary in 2019-20 and Vice President this school year. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. In academics, she has excelled in Advanced Placement, University of Texas OnRamps, and Texas State Technical College courses, earning 37 high school credits and an overall GPA of 5.328. Kaitlin plans on attending Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.  

Female student in graduation cap and gownThis year's Salutatorian is Laura C. She is the daughter of Viridiana and Efrain. She is a member of the Lion Marching Band and Honor Band, serving as Section Leader for two years.

Laura has also thrived in her academic endeavors. She is a member of the CHS Student Council, where she served as Secretary, a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of the National Technical Honor Society. Laura has excelled in Advanced Placement, University of Texas OnRamps, and Technical State Technical College courses, earning 37 high school credits with an overall GPA of 5.266. Laura plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in Chemistry while pursuing a Dental pathway.
