TCC STEM Camp

We have a wonderful opportunity for approximately 24-30 female high school students interested in STEM careers.  The Latina STEM Fellowship is an exciting 2-week camp at Tarrant County College.  It was created to support any young woman interested in STEM through skill building, education and career planning, and mentorship.

Students will be exposed to STEM professionals, educational planning,  and interactive lab activities.  The students will also visit Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University (TCU), and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT).

All high school females are encouraged to apply. However, preference to the camp will be given to upperclassmen (Juniors and Seniors). Please see the attached flier for more information.

Applications are available at tccd.edu/LatinaSTEM.  APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 1, 2018.     Please share with the appropriate contacts and if you have any additional questions, feel free to email me or Dr. Duarte at iris.duarte@tccd.edu.
