International Dot Day is a worldwide celebration of creativity that began when Terry Shay, a teacher, utilized the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds in his class. The Dot tells the story of a student struggling with starting a creative assignment and the teacher who encourages her to find confidence in her own abilities. Every year on Dot Day people of all ages collaborate and encourage each other to share the creativity that exists deep within us all. For more information on International Dot Day be sure to visit the Dot Day website.
