Parents, if your child is experiencing technical issues, and you have a device that will connect to the Internet, the fastest technical support we offer is to join one of our virtual tech support live sessions.

Student Virtual Tech Support

If the technical issue cannot be resolved in a virtual tech support live session, then please follow these guidelines:

  1. Contact your child's campus administrator via phone or email.
  2. The administrator will contact you to make arrangements of when and where the student's device can be dropped off.
  3. The administrator will enter a support ticket and deliver the device to a member of the Technology Services Department.
  4. The Technology Services Department will repair the computer and return it to the campus administrator
  5. Your administrator will contact you and make arrangements for when and where the student device may be picked up.

Device Repair

If your child's device is experiencing technical issues, the District Technical Support Team will have a drop off and pick up location at each Meal Distribution site. (Joy James, Castleberry Elementary, and Castleberry High School)

Computer Distribution 

Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade Students

If your child requires a device to access their lessons, the parent may check out an iPad for their student to complete assignments. 

Complete the Device Request Form to request an iPad for use at home.

2nd and 3rd Grade Students

Every 2nd and 3rd Grade Student will be issued a Chromebook to utilize at home. Parents can pick up their child's Chromebook at the Joy James Elementary, Castleberry Elementary, and Castleberry High School during Meal Distributions beginning Monday, March 30th. 

4th and 5th Grade Students

If your 4th or 5th grade child left their Chromebook at school over Spring Break principals will be contacting each parent to arrange a date, time, and location for parent pick up.

6th - 12th Grade Students

All 6th - 12th Grade Students have already been issued either a Chromebook or Windows device that they take home each night.

Home Internet Access

If your child needs safe, secure, and filtered Internet access, CISD can issue a WiFi router that will provide a free connection to the Internet.
