Castleberry ISD Welcomes Charles Lair as an Assistant Principal at Castleberry High School
Castleberry ISD welcomes Dr. Charles Lair as an assistant principal at Castleberry High School. Dr. Lair joins Castleberry ISD from Keller ISD where he served as a high school Business, Marketing, and Finance CTE teacher and athletics coach. He started his career in education 11 years ago as a Life Skills Special Education teacher at Fossil Hill Middle School.
Dr. Lair earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 2004, and a Master of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University in 2009. Most recently, he earned a Doctorate of Business Administration from Capella University in 2024.
His career began in management roles at corporations including FedEx, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and DuPure International. It was not until 2011 when he transitioned to substitute teaching, that he discovered a passion for education.
Originally from Corpus Christi, TX, Dr. Lair relocated to the DFW area where he met his wife Tiffany. They reside in Keller with their children Reese (18) and Corbin (9), along with their dogs Athena (Great Dane) and Lil’ Bit (Malshe).
Dr. Lair is grateful and honored for the opportunity to continue his professional growth and contribute positively to students and families in Castleberry ISD.
